Robert McEwen, MBA, CIC

Robert has more than fifteen years of experience in the insurance industry. He began his career at the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) where he worked for eight years as a senior financial analyst and liquidation oversight manager. While at TDI, Robert conducted financial analysis of insurance companies to ascertain solvency and supervised the liquidation of some of the largest insurance receiverships in Texas. Robert has been with The Parks Group, Inc. since September 2003 when the Austin office commenced operation. He has years of experience underwriting all lines of business. He attained his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2005 and is currently more than halfway through his Certified Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Robert graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin with both a B.B.A. and M.B.A. He is currently a member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Austin, the Austin Association of Insurance Professionals (AAIP) and Texas Surplus Lines Association (TSLA).

Connie Hatch

Upon graduation from high school in Austin, Texas in 1975, Connie began her career in the insurance industry. During that time, she has worked for retailers, carriers and MGA/brokerage firms. The majority of her career has been in the MGA/brokerage area for all lines of professional liability. Her experience includes brokering of E&O and D&O accounts of all sizes. However, her specialization has been in architects & engineers, medical and miscellaneous professional liability. Combined with her genuine interest of the needs of her clients, Connie's vast professional lines experience and knowledge is truly impressive. Connie has held numerous positions in the Austin Association of Insurance Professionals (AAIP) including past President. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Surplus Lines Association and been involved with the Federation of Insurance Women of Texas (FIWT). She is currently a member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Austin and the Austin Association of Insurance Professionals (AAIP). Connie has won numerous awards for her many years of service to the insurance industry.

Mari Beth Matott

Mari Beth Matott has over five years of experience in the insurance industry. She graduated with honors from Texas Lutheran University in 2005 with a B.A. and began working at Swett & Crawford in Irvine, California as an account manager for the professional services department. She has been with The Parks Group, Inc. since October 2007. In December 2010, Mari Beth graduated from Texas State University with an M.Ed. She is currently in the process of attaining her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and is an active member of the Austin Association of Insurance Professionals (AAIP).
